An Italian artist that is known to rework common objects, Lucio Perone’s pop art sculptures are cheeky and humorous due to representing improbability in their composition. Perone’s resin creations stand out due to their blatant irony in his pairing of an inanimate object with a human figure.

Peppe Perone

Sculptor and Installation artist, Peppe Perone, creates sculptures by covering and crystallising with a thin layer of sand. Perone creates sculptures of animals and common objects that are taken out of their own context, whilst experimenting with  the children’s game that the fragility of things are subject to a continuous transformation.
